Check out Proto-tech's version of this essential dental materials test. It uses a electric motor and precision roller bearings to provide reciprocating motion at up to 180 rpm along a 10mm path. The specimens are mounted in a spatter-proof container where a continuous stream of toothpaste slurry is supplied by a peristaltic pump. Brass weights transmit the adjustable brushing force of up to 300 grams. A counter turns the cycling off when your preset cycle number has been reached.

The Toothbrush Wear Simulator is powered by a reliable 1/4 hp motor. An electronic counter and non-contact sensor log the cycles and stop the test when a programmed number of cycles elapse.  The system comes complete with test frame, recirculating pump, brushes, and sample rings.
